What the extension stores

Everything below is kept locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local and never leaves your device:

the last nickname you looked up
the season you selected
your feature toggles and interface language
the position of the lobby scanner panel

Uninstalling the extension or clearing its data removes all of it.

What is sent to our server

When you look up a player or scan a lobby, the extension sends one request to our backend containing the nickname or match room ID you are looking at, plus the selected season. The server uses it to query the official FACEIT Data API and returns the result. Responses are cached briefly to reduce load. We do not keep request logs tied to individuals and we do not build user profiles.

What we never collect

No accounts, logins or passwords
No FACEIT credentials or API keys from users
No browsing history, page content, analytics or tracking scripts
No data is sold, rented or shared with third parties

Permissions

Data sources

Player statistics come from the official FACEIT Data API. This extension is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by FACEIT or ESL FACEIT Group.
